I never noticed the Musuem much as a kid but we went to the club quite regularly when I was young, and I loved the facade. Now you can hardly see it.

On the other hand, the travel is so much faster now. I go for late night drives over these flyovers sometimes.Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10819608939555247317noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21165947.post-77987513927946720702010-06-03T04:19:32.053-04:002010-06-03T04:19:32.053-04:00@Debo: I think Shone's position is a little di...@Debo: I think Shone's position is a little different from yours. I feel like he fundamentally loves Delhi - it's different from the love he feels for Cal is all. I don't think he expects less of this city. :-)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03509462228866196172noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21165947.post-6387834473979414672010-06-02T18:23:37.082-04:002010-06-02T18:23:37.082-04:00Bhalo galgo, you have expressed something so many ...Bhalo galgo, you have expressed something so many of us feel but cannot put into words.......pumpkin7https://www.blogger.com/profile/01420639098588509671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21165947.post-45638797483789449092010-06-02T13:27:42.148-04:002010-06-02T13:27:42.148-04:00Indian Museum doing the shimmy while you got close...Indian Museum doing the shimmy while you got closer to it. so true, and so very well put:)

And its true, our expectations of Dilli and Kolkata are fundamentally different. i don't expect dilli to be anything other than what it is, and it fulfills that expectation perfectly...

Kolkata, on the other hand is a sensory thing. i remember certain smells and views, and expect them, and every time its a sigh of disappointment from somewhere inside. One understands that time moves on of course, and so it must, but ayta emosional byapaar:))

so very true.Devalinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05706015650611324230noreply@blogger.com
